The France behind France.
Private châteaux. Secret gardens. Intimate tables. For a select few travelers, we open the doors to that France. To estates that do not advertise, villages left off the map, addresses only known to a few.
Your reverie begins here. By introduction.

Where dreams find a map.
Names, addresses, in your hand.
You share where you want to go. We share the names, the wanders, the shape of the journey.
Do you book the trip for me?
No. Maison Lafon offers private guidance, not bookings. You — or your travel agent — handle reservations after the consultation.
What happens after we speak?
After a 60-minute consultation, you receive our personal recommendations by email — addresses, names, tables. Our partner introductions remain warm: once we connect you, the relationship is yours.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
Yes. Reschedule freely from the link in your booking confirmation. Cancellations more than 48 hours before the call are fully refunded.

An insider's France.
Maison Lafon (pronounced like "salon") was founded by the mother and son of a centuries-old French family of Knights whose origins trace to the 15th century. The name itself is drawn from the land: la fon, the spring. A place of origin. A source.
To be a Lafon has always meant to be a source: of connections, culture, taste, and what is worth knowing. In a world counterfeited by algorithms, there's a France — historic, real, dreamy — that fewer and fewer see.
This is what we open today. We share the France we love, our addresses, our wanders, our château culture, so that you may know it, and fall in love again.
Josiane brings the France she lives. Benjamin, French and American, is the bridge to discover it.

To be known by the right people.
Maison Lafon gathers a community of people with taste, drawn to France for its history and culture, its châteaux and tables, its art de vivre.
Maison Lafon partners with anyone tending to the soul of France, those who share a love of what is authentic and beautiful. A few of the partners we work most often with:
Châteaux to visit, estates to call home, hotels and restaurants, villas and domaines.
Historic gardens, monuments, and museums. Foundations, villages, and the regions themselves.
Ateliers, vineyards, and the trade. The living hands that keep France's craft and terroir alive.
For event planners, travel agencies, and curators of journeys: Maison Lafon shares its addresses, names, and network behind the scenes, so your clients receive the France that few can give them.
